EastEnders and Emmerdale both have an amazing cast, but have you ever wondered how it would work to mix up some characters?
While the two soaps are incredibly different, we definitely got to see some EastEnders characters paying a visit to the Yorkshire Dales.
Here are seven EastEnders characters that we think would fit perfectly into Emmerdale.

Callum Highway is married to Ben Mitchell, but he’s on the other side of the law and works as a cop.
Callum has proven to be a good-natured and kind character.
We could definitely see him team up with PC Swirling to tackle crime in the village of Emmerdale.
The character Suki Panesar joined the EastEnders cast in 2020 as Kheerat, Vinny, Jags and Ash’s mother.
She has shown she cannot be messed with and has been implicated in a handful of crimes since arriving in Albert Square.
She seems to be a good fit in Emmerdale as the owner of Home Farm. Although we’re not sure what Kim Tate would say about this.
Suki and Kim would either be best friends or worst enemies.
Shirley is an EastEnders icon and can only be imagined in Albert Square.
She would go well with the Dingle clan, however, especially Cain.
We could see Shirley doing some seedy jobs with Cain, Aaron, and Mackenzie.
Dingles Meet the Mitchells is a spin-off we’d love to see!
Dotty Cotton is the granddaughter of the EastEnders legend Dot Cotton.
She returned to Walford in 2019 and has a habit of finding trouble.
She currently works at Ruby’s Club and runs a card fraud.
Much like Shirley, we could see that she blended in well with the things. Or even open your own bar in the village.
Honey may be a Mitchell, but she’s another one who has proven herself good-natured and wouldn’t hurt a fly.
It seems like Honey Mitchell would make a good friendly with Leyla Harding.
We could definitely see her planning weddings at Take A Vow or working with Mandy Dingle at Pamper Manda.
Tracey the barmaid
Another EastEnders legend is Tracey the barmaid. While Tracey is not considered the main character, she has been part of EastEnders since the first episode on February 19, 1985.
Like Shirley, it would be hard to imagine her anywhere else, but it would be amazing to see a crossover with Tracey doing a shift at The Woolpack.
Imagine getting into an argument with Chas Dingle.

Kim Fox recently returned to Albert Square after visiting Scotland.
Upon her return, she started her own dating agency, Fox Catcher.
We could definitely see her show up in Emmerdale to work with Leyla and Andrea on Take A Vow to plan the first Fox Catcher wedding.
