Abundantia Entertainment constantly strives to focus on the audience in order to tell inspiring and understandable stories. One segment whose potential has not yet been fully exploited in India is the young adult genre (YA). To bridge the gap between the growing youth, who make up a significant part of today’s audience, and this genre, Abundantia Entertainment has introduced the “Filter” aimed at the YA segment. This would be Abundantia Entertainment’s second venture in the industry since it announced it would acquire the rights to the hit Israeli YA drama “The Missing,” which is currently in script form.
Vikram Malhotra, founder and CEO of Abundantia Entertainment, says: “YA has a clear and unambiguous priority for Abundantia Entertainment. And we want to use every opportunity to create insightful and engaging stories for the Indian YA segment. Apeksha’s brilliant and impressive book Along Came A Spyder is a step in that direction. I am very excited about the opportunity to build an Indian YA franchise for this underserved segment. “
