The trend for actors to cross-overs into other languages has picked up rapidly in recent years, including Hindi film actors making local-language films and vice versa. In recent times and in the coming months there has been an abundance of talent from all language cinemas who have recently made or will make their debut in Hindi films and shows.
Shalini Pandey impressed with her innocence and amazing performance in Arjun Reddy alongside Vijay Deverakonda and is now ready to make her debut in Bollywood with electrifying actor Ranveer Singh in the upcoming film Jayeshbhai Jordaar produced by Maneesh Sharma of YRF Production and directed by Divyang Thakkar.
After recognition and love in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Punjabi films, Wamiqa Gabbi has taken Bollywood by storm with her OTT debut series Grahan. Wamiqa is praised for her brilliant performance without losing the serenity and innocence of her character on the series. According to industry sources, Wamiqa is supposed to play the young Sivagami in Opus Magnum and in the third part of Rajamouli Baahubali: Before the Beginning. It was also reported that she replaced Mrunal Thakur to star. Her next is a series, Mai, with Sakshi Tanwar on Netflix.
Another South American leading actress is set to storm Bollywood with multiple projects in the pipeline. Rashmika has been part of several blockbuster films from Telugu and Kannada starring some of the top actors in the region and now appears alongside Siddharth Malhotra in Mission Majnu, produced by RSVP and directed by Shantanu Bagchi. The enthusiasm is also present in the industry, it becomes part of Good-Bye with megastar Amitabh Bachchan is produced by Balaji Telefilms and directed by Vikas Bahl.
Pranitha has appeared primarily in Kannada, Telugu and Tamil films and will soon make her Bollywood debut with two prominent films. She will be sharing screen space with a stellar cast including Ajay Devgan, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Ammy Virk and many others in the war movie Bhuj: The Pride of India soon to be released on Disney + Hotstar. The southern actress will also star in another rom-com film, Hungama 2, starring Meezan Jaffrey, Shilpa Shetty and Paresh Rawal in key roles, directed by Priyadarshan, which will mark his return to the Hindi film industry.
The original Kabir Singh aka Arjun Reddy aka Vijay Devarakonda, who was primarily active in Telugu cinema as an actor and producer, will now make his Bollywood debut in the romantic sports-action film Liger starring alongside Ananya Pandey. The young heartthrob plays like a boxer for whom he has made a tremendous effort to have an athletic body. It also happens to mark Ananya’s debut in cinema in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. The film is produced by Karan Johar.
Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas:
After massive success in Telugu films, Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas is now looking forward to his big appearance in Bollywood with the remake of SS Rajamouli’s film Chhatrapati from 2005. The Hindi version will be directed by filmmaker VV Vinayak and by Jayantilal Gada at Pen Studios produced. The Telugu version played Prabhas as Chhatrapati.
Vijay Sethupathi, actor, producer, copywriter and dialogue writer Vijay Sethupathi, one of the best actors in the southern film industry, including Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam, makes his Bollywood debut with the film Mumbaikar alongside Vikrant Massey, Sanjay Mishra, Ranvir Shorey, Sachin Khedekar, Tanya Maniktala among others. Dubbed “Makkal Selvan” by fans and the media, which means “Folk Treasure”, it will be a pleasure to see the superstar speaking Hindi dialogue in his unique style. The 2017 remake of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Maanagaram, Mumbaikar is directed by Riya Shibu and directed by Santosh Sivan.

She has received praise from both critics and audiences for her role as an antagonist. Samantha, who has already established her career in the Telugu and Tamil film industries, is looking for a good script for her Hindi film debut.
Amar Choudary, popularly known as Jiiva, is an actor and producer in several super hit films in Tamil cinema. After establishing himself as one of the successful actors in the South, Jiiva is ready to make his Bollywood debut with the long-awaited magnum Opus Film 83. Jiiva will see the character of the real cricket hero Kris Srikkanth on the big screen. 83 is a biographical sports film based on the real-life sporting event when India won the World Cricket Championship in 1983 under the captaincy of legendary Kapil Dev. Directed by Kabir Khan, produced by Deepika Padukone and Sajid Nadiadwala. Ranveer Singh plays Kapil Dev.
