GMB viewers mocked Alex Beresford this morning (Friday April 2nd) after making a One Foot in the Grave mistake.
Alex, 40, hosted the show with Charlotte Hawkins.
However, during an interview with comedy legend Richard Wilson, the popular weather correspondent went a little boo-boo when it came to Richard’s most famous character, Victor Meldrew.
What did Alex Beresford say to GMB?
Alex and Charlotte interviewed 84-year-old Richard and his neighbor, fellow actor Jos Vantyler.
Jos announced that he had helped Richard during the lockdown and did the shopping for him.
However, the chat soon revolved around the 1990s sitcom, One Foot in the Grave, in which Richard played Victor Meldrew.

“What are the chances of you repeating your role on One Foot in the Grave, one of my all-time favorite series?” Asked Alex.
“Well, I’m very glad you said that, but do you know Victor Meldrew is dead?” Replied Richard.
Laughing, Alex said, “You say that, but we’ve seen it in the past [in] Death In Paradise … characters that are actually brought back to life. Why not? Why not put foot in the grave? “
“[Writer] David Renwick wouldn’t do that, he’s too smart! “Richard explained.
