Britney Spears’ latest documentary, Controlling Britney Spears, contains some shocking allegations.
The insightful new movie on Sky contains some terrifying allegations that shed some light on the tragic ordeal the pop star allegedly went through for over a decade.
In 2008, a legal conservatory gave Britney’s father Jamie control of his daughter’s finances, medical care, and more.
However, the star is in the process of getting her life back. But what makes this documentation different from the others? Well buckle up!
Here’s everything we learn new in Controlling Britney Spears.
Britney Spears Doc Control: Shocking New Allegations
One of the most annoying allegations is that Britney’s dad and her team tapped their phone.
This is what Alex Vlasov, a former employee of the security company Black Box, who had worked with the singer for nine years, claimed.
He claims restorers bugged their phone and home, and monitored their usage on the device in real time.
Audio monitoring devices have also been placed in her bedroom.
“It really reminded me of someone who was in jail,” he said.

It is unknown if the court overseeing the singer’s conservatory knew about the surveillance.
Britney’s attorney Mathew S. Rosengart said that if the allegations were true, it was a “shameful violation” of Britney’s rights.
“Any unauthorized interception or surveillance of Britney’s communications – particularly communications from lawyers and clients who are an inviolable part of the legal system – would be a shameful violation of their personal rights and a striking example of the loss of their civil liberties.
“Placing a bugging device in Britney’s bedroom would be particularly inexcusable and shameful, and confirms so much of her compelling, poignant statement.
“These actions need to be investigated fully and aggressively,” he added.
Earlier this year, Britney spoke publicly and credited the #FreeBritney movement for helping her on her path to freedom.
Other claims in the document include that Britney’s father was nervous about the growing movement.
It is alleged that he sent spies to attend the rallies and obtain information about the attending fans.
It has been alleged that Britney’s potential suitors are being followed by private investigators.
They are reportedly not allowed to see Britney until her father deems her behavior “acceptable”.

However, it’s not just the men in her life who are checked by Jamie.
Tish Yates was the former head of the Spears Wardrobe between 2008 and 2018.
She claims on camera that there was an incident in which Britney was concerned about inhaling used marijuana smoke. She didn’t want to possibly fail a drug test. This is because it would have made her lose access to her children.
As a result, Britney ran off the stage and Tish helped her calm her down and take her side. She later lost her job.
