Amy Tinkler drops out of the show as fans make the decision

Dancing On Ice viewers have criticized the judges’ decision to exclude Amy Tinkler from the competition.

Gymnast Amy, who won the Olympic medal, was in the skate-off last night (Sunday, February 14), despite having entered the competition only three weeks ago.

And viewers were outraged by the decision, claiming it was “unfair”.

What did Amy Tinkler do on Dancing On Ice?

Amy came on the show to replace Denise Van Outen after the presenter retired with a shoulder injury.

With just six skating duos taking part in this week’s show, Amy and pro skating partner Joe Johnson hit the ice to perform from will.i.am to Bang Bang.

What did Amy say after she was eliminated from Dancing On Ice?

Although Ashley Banjo scored a 7.5, John Barrowman a 7.0, Jayne Torvill a 7.0, and Christopher Dean a 7.5, there was some criticism.

John in particular found fault with their characterization.

Amy’s total score of 29 wasn’t enough to keep her out of the skate-off with Lady Leshurr, who she eventually lost.

When Amy heard the news, she said, “I had the best time and I am so grateful to meet Joe.”

How did the audience react to the decision?

It didn’t take long for viewers to express their anger at the decision.

One viewer wrote on Twitter: “I think Amy & Joe who left the competition were a little unfair, I thought they were really good?”

Another said, “How fair is it that Amy got off because she didn’t skate alone? Don’t the judges take into account that she’s been there for 3 weeks?”

A third commented, “Wrong decision tonight, think Amy should have gone through! Not sure if having Rita Ora was a good idea too! “

Finally, a fourth raged: “Wrong decision by the judges last night. Amy and Joe were by far the better skaters. “

Immediately before the show, Jason Donovan retired from week five due to back pain.

He got a passport until next week.
