The couple’s relationship became in large part TOWIE, as was their eventual heartbreaking breakup.

They seemed completely in love, and Joey then surprised viewers when he proposed marriage in 2013.
But then things started to take a turn.
As a result, the couple separated for good the following year.
Are Joey Essex and Sam Faiers still friends?
Unfortunately not good news.
Joey announced in 2019 that he hadn’t spoken to Sam in a long time.
He retold! Magazine: “I haven’t spoken to Sam Faiers in about 25 years. I don’t actually watch television so I didn’t have the time to catch up on their show.
“The only person I see on TV is myself. When I’m on TV, I go home quickly to see how sick I am. I don’t care about other shows, not even TOWIE, really. “
Who else is Joey Essex dating?
Joey has a long history with famous women.
After breaking up with Sam, Joey began dating a number of girls, including TOWIE star Amber Turner, TV host Amy Willerton, and model Lorena Medina.
He also enjoyed affairs with pop star Rita Ora, The Hills star Stephanie Pratt, and influencer Georgie Purves.
He’s been pretty busy!

At the beginning of the year he talked about why he is dropping his girlfriends after such a short time.
He told The Mirror, “People are surprised by this, but that’s why I drop girls so quickly. I don’t need to waste time cheating on them. I don’t think I found a girl to challenge me. “
However, he added that he hopes to settle down in his thirties and raise a family.
At the beginning of the year he tried his luck at Celebs Go Dating for the third time, but unfortunately he couldn’t find ‘The One’ yet.
Joey Essex: Grief and Me will air on BBC One tonight (Thursday 3rd June) at 9pm.
