Ashley Banjo, a judge at Dancing On Ice, has been criticized for giving Joe-Warren Plant a lower score.
The diversity dancer gave the Emmerdale actor a score of seven for his performance on the show on Sunday (February 7th).
Joe and Vanessa Bauer took a quick step on the ice and received an incredible 32.5 out of 40 points.
But while the other judges each gave Joe an eight, Ashley stuck to a seven.
What did Ashley Banjo say about Joe’s Dancing On Ice performance?
The star said, “My score is not based on your skills. I know you are good and I expect you to be good.

“My score tonight is based on two things. First, the challenge wasn’t a unique step for me. It felt like a piece of choreography. “
He continued, “The second was that this song is so full of energy and when you get into a routine that is so full of things I can sometimes see that you are only going one step at a time.
“I’d rather make less movement and see you perform. I want you to do more and absolutely master the challenge. “
Some viewers disagreed with Ashley’s score of seven.
One person wrote on Twitter: “Ashley Banjo, did you see the same Joe we did?”
Another said, “Very disappointed with Ashley’s score. This skate was amazing. “
One added, “Oh eff off Ashley Banjo, that was MUCH better than a 7.”

Others defend Ashley’s score
However, one person defended Ashley’s hit, saying it was “just right”.
They wrote: “That was marked too much. Ashley’s review was spot on. Where was the unique step? “
Meanwhile, last week, Joe admitted that he was “disappointed” with his routine.
After his appearance he said on Instagram: “Except for the end product of today’s skate, but this time at least I stayed on my feet!
