BBC breakfast presenters Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt were replaced today (March 20) with hosts Jon Kay and Rachel Burden.
Naga and Charlie usually present the BBC breakfast on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
However, the couple wasn’t on our screens today.
How did viewers react to the new BBC Breakfast presenters?
Viewers seemed to love seeing Rachel and Jon on their screens.
Commenting on a post Rachel shared on Twitter, a fan said, “I’m glad you both are this morning.”
Another added, “Nice to see you over the BBC breakfast this morning.”
A third said: “Perfect team to start on Saturday morning.”

What happened at the BBC breakfast this week?
Earlier this week, Naga and Charlie sparked controversy after an interview with housing clerk Robert Jenrick.
At the end of the interview, Charlie joked about the size of Jenrick’s Union Jack flag.

Naga laughed and also noticed that he had a framed picture of the queen on the wall.

Viewers were quick to complain and a group of MPs wrote to the BBC boss asking the couple to apologize.
Naga apologized for a “crime” caused after liking a series of tweets about the incident.
How did viewers react to the absence of Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt?
The presenters’ absence from their regular BBC Breakfast slot today drew the inevitable jokes from viewers on Twitter.
It was even joked that they were missing because they were on the “naughty step”.
