Boris Johnson urges the British to abide by the lockdown rules as the Easter weekend 2021 kicks off.
With Easter weekend seeming warm to many, there is concern that COVID-19 rules will be violated.
The 56-year-old prime minister took part in a Q&A on Twitter warning the British to remain cautious.
He especially pushed against people mingling inside.
Boris said: “We are not in this phase yet. We are in a world where, under the rule of six or two households, you can meet friends and family outdoors.
“And while friends and family members may be vaccinated, the vaccines don’t offer 100% protection, so we just have to be careful.
“We don’t think they’ll completely reduce or eliminate the risk of transmission.”
Meanwhile, the coronavirus reproduction number (R) remains unchanged from a week.

Additionally, this news comes amid the confusion over a potential domestic COVID-19 passport.
This would apparently enable COVID-free Britons to return to “normal” life.
However, over 70 MPs have campaigned against this concept.
Will there be COVID-19 passports?
Opposing members include senior Conservative MPs and former union leader Jeremy Corbyn.
Labor Baroness Shami Chakrabarti told ITV News that she feared such a passport could be “discriminatory”.
She said, “Passes are good for international travel and this type of travel is a privilege. But crossing the street as opposed to crossing borders is not a privilege. That should be a basic right that comes with life in our community.
“Internal passports and internal vaccination certificates would be an instrument for discrimination, bullying, corruption and segregation in a society that has to cope with this pandemic together.”
The telegraph had reported that a number of attempts with domesticated COVID-19 passports were to be brought to justice.
So far, number 10 has insisted that these plans remain unconfirmed and are currently under review.
In addition, this week has likely been an especially embarrassing one for the Prime Minister.

In fact, she said, “After we loved each other … I felt at odds when I was in his family home and seeing him like this, but I couldn’t help but feel loved, wanted.”
The American businesswoman continued, “If I had stayed 10 minutes, I would have been in the house when Marina came back. It’s not a great feeling.
“We slept together with his family and in a way it was fun, but it didn’t really fit.”
