Chase host Bradley Walsh was stunned last night (February 4th) after a contestant made show history when she played against The Vixen.
In a car chase, candidate Janty initially did not have the option of accepting a lower offer after failing to ask any questions correctly in the cash builder round.
This is because none of the contestants who went before her made it to the final chase, so she had nothing to play.
Instead, The Vixen star Jenny Ryan offered Janty the option to play for £ 0 or £ 40,000.
And she decided to go hard or go home!
What happened to The Vixen on The Chase last night?
Janty was the third candidate to face The Vixen.
The previous two contestants didn’t get through, and when Janty didn’t ask a single question correctly, The Vixen was left with quite a puzzle.

For the first time, she couldn’t make a lower offer and instead gave Janty the option to play in the Final Chase again without hoping the final contestant would win some money to play with – or try for £ 40,000.
Can’t believe that! That was incredible! What a game!
She opted for the latter and, to everyone’s amazement, managed to reach the finals.
Bradley Walsh was stunned and ran around the studio pounding his fists in the air.
He exclaimed: “Can’t believe that! That was incredible! What a game!”
Bradley added, “This will go down in Chase history – that was exciting!
“I wish we could do this again.”
What happened when Janty took on The Vixen in the final chase?
The fourth candidate did not do as well as Janty last night and soon went home empty-handed.

That meant Janty had to play for her £ 40,000 alone.
Their stroke of luck, however, seemed to end in the cash builder round, and Janty only got six of Bradley’s questions right.
What happened in the last car chase?
As a result, it wasn’t long before Jenny caught her in the final chase.
In fact, The Vixen had no chance of setbacks and caught Janty by a minute and 26 seconds.
Bradley said, however, “It doesn’t matter what happened here, it matters what happened there.”
Jenny added, “Janty, you were such a great player to be head to head for the ages.”
