Cam and Jules turned down the reunion show

Married at First Sight Australian stars Cam Merchant and Jules Robinson reportedly refused to attend the show’s reunion special.

The couple who filmed the series are believed to have turned down $ 60,000 to appear in the finale episode.

A source revealed: “There was murmur on the set that they just wanted more money.”

When the couple pulled out, the producers were reportedly “left behind” to fill their seat.

Instead, Charlene Perera, the star of the fifth season, was called in as a replacement.

In the meantime, Jules said earlier, “It’s a long shoot and I have to be with him [Oliver]. ”

The lovers have grown stronger since meeting in the E4 series.

In fact, the couple welcomed son Oliver into the world in October 2020.

Jules shared a sneak peek at Cam’s birthday earlier this month and posted a snippet of the two on a rare night out.

She wrote: “She looks a little tired spitting in front of me but all that matters is that the three of us shared your birthday @cammerchant today.

“Every year I joke that we’re moving Cams’ birthday to June 4th (Can we @cammerchant haha).

“Happy birthday to the man with the heart of gold, whose love knows no bounds. I’ll always love you. “
