Charley Webb has admitted that she and her husband Matthew Wolfenden are no longer “romantic”.
The 32-year-old actress, best known in Emmerdale as Debbie Dingle, revealed that it wasn’t easy for the couple in lockdown.
But even though they’re not in love, the two are still a “partnership”.

“In many ways, I think the reason it works is because we’re not putting pressure on our relationship.”
Since the lockdown, the couple have been looking after their three sons and juggling work.

Additionally, Matthew said, “It’s hard and we argued. You have to argue if you are stuck in a house with three kids 24/7 and they play. We’ve had our little moments, but I haven’t spoken to a person who hasn’t. “
Despite some problems, it didn’t stop the 40-year-old actor from having more kids.
The couple are already parents of sons Buster (10), Bowie (5) and Ace (1).
When did the couple start dating?
Love blossomed between the two on the ITV soap set.
Debbie plays Cain and Charity’s daughter Debbie, while Matthews plays David Metcalfe.
The couple started in 2007, a year after the actor joined the soap.

Matthew asked Charley the question on Christmas Day 2009, three months after announcing that they were expecting their first child.
In the meantime, they tied the knot in a private ceremony in February 2018.
They initially told loved ones that the bash was Charley’s 30th birthday, but later announced that it was her wedding anniversary.
Charley’s brother Jamie Lomas gave her away while her Emmerdale co-stars served as bridesmaids.
Matthew opened that day and said, “We couldn’t have got a better answer. People only screamed for 10 minutes!
“It wasn’t the most traditional wedding.”

The Emmerdale co-stars have welcomed three beautiful sons, with Buster being the oldest.
The boy was born in April 2010.
Charley and Matthew welcomed Bowie, who was born in December 2015.
Meanwhile, the actress went on maternity leave in 2019 before giving birth to the youngest son, Ace.
Last year Charley announced that she hasn’t ruled out welcoming a fourth.
She said on Instagram: “Three is absolute chaos, but I don’t know if I’m finished? Just never know if you can still have one. I feel blessed with my three boys. “

Yes, Charley and Matthew broke up briefly in 2013 after six years together.
At the time, the couple focused on raising son Buster together and remained friends.
However, they decided to do it again just two years later.
Matthew told the Daily Record, “It was never a permanent breakup, it just took us some time apart.”
