Chrissy Teigen has reportedly been dropped from a surprise role in Netflix’s Never Have I Ever season 2.
The TV chef was supposed to initially act as the inner voice of one of the teenage characters, following in the footsteps of John McEnroe and Andy Samberg.
But just a few weeks before new teen rom-com episodes were released, there was a change of plan.
Despite the show’s release in July, a Netflix spokesperson told Geier that Chrissy has “decided to retire from the role”.
However, they still have to reveal who will replace them.
Her role was supposed to be a surprise twist for viewers, with celebrity voices becoming a recurring joke on the show.
Chrissy is currently under fire for old tweets trolling a then-teen Courtney Stodden.

Chrissy responded with a public apology, saying: “I am ashamed and sad about who I once was. I was an insecure, attention-grabbing troll.
“I’m ashamed and totally ashamed of my behavior, but that nothing compared to how I made Courtney feel. “
She has since been silent on social media while the backlash continues.
What happens in Never Have I Ever season 2?
Season 2 begins after Devi kisses her savior Ben.
Still preoccupied with the grief over her father’s death, Devi has even more in her hands as she grapples with her feelings for Ben and the local hot woman Paxton.
Add to that family obligations, friendships that need to be rebuilt and school – and the high school student has her hands full.
Never Have I Ever season 2 will appear on Netflix later that year.
