Couple “asked to delay broadcast”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey is expected to air this Sunday.

However, the couple are told to think about poor Prince Philip, who has been in the hospital since February 16 when he was being treated for an infection, and to postpone the chat.

The first trailer of the extensive conversation between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex was revealed hours before the 99-year-old Duke of Edinburgh was relocated.

It is bad timing when they say “poor us”.

On Monday, a 30-second trailer sparked a huge reaction when the couple spoke of stepping back from royal life.

Harry said, “My main concern was that history would repeat itself,” apparently referring to his mother, Princess Diana, who died in a car accident in Paris in 1997.

What happens in the trailer?

He added, “You know, I’m just very relieved and happy to sit here and talk to you, with my wife by my side.

“Because I can’t imagine what it must have been like for her [Diana]to go through this process alone. All those years ago.

“Because it was incredibly difficult for both of us, but at least we had each other.”

Meghan then said, “Yes.”
