What is Craig famous for?

Nowadays Craig is best known as a brutally honest judge on Strictly Come Dancing.

He is currently the only judge to have appeared on every episode so far.

Due to his popularity on the show, he also took part in Celebrity MasterChef – which he won in 2020.

His slurred sense of humor has also won fans through appearances on 8 Out of 10 Cats, Through the Keyhole and Celebrity Juice.

The Strictly judge flew to Australia to investigate what happened to his great, great, great grandfather.

Craig has also judged on Dancing with the Stars in New Zealand, Australian Dancing with the Stars, and Comic Relief Does Fame Academy.

Craig Revel Horwood career

The Australian-born performer made a name for himself as a ballroom dancer, choreographer, conductor, singer and theater director.

His West End credits include Spend Spend Spend and My One and Only, both of which earned Laurence Olivier Award nominations for Best Choreography.

Craig has directed and choreographed Sister Act, West Side Story, Martin Guerre, Miss Saigon, Hard Times, Calamity Jane and Tommy Cooper: Jus’ Like That.

He has starred in Annie, Cats, Miss Saigon, Crazy for You, and countless others.

Craig will direct Strictly Ballroom the Musical, which was scheduled to tour the UK from September 2020 but has been postponed to September 2022 due to the pandemic.

He is also the author of the fictional novel Dances and Dreams on Diamond Street and has authored several autobiographies and dance manuals.

Craig is, of course, a very popular addition to pantomime – boo, hiss! – and played the Evil Queen in Snow White, the Evil Stepmother in Cinderella and Captain Hook in Peter Pan.

Craig choreographed the final scene in Paddington 2 and made his acting debut as Emmanuel Cavendish in Nativity Rocks! in 2018.

What is the net worth of Craig Revel Horwood?

Craig was worth over £ 1 million in 2019, and that number will almost certainly have risen since then.

In an interview with the Financial Times, he revealed, “My assets and sales are worth over £ 1 million, but I have no plans to slow down.

“My idea at 25 was to retire at 50, but now […] I think it’s way too young. “

According to The Sun, Craig is one of the highest-paid judges in Strictly Come Dancing.

At the end of each series, he reportedly takes home around £ 110,000.

Craig Revel Horwood got married – who is his ex-wife?

Craig was married to Jane Norwood from 1990 until their divorce in 1992.

He married Wales-born Jane in 1990 when he was 25 and she was 30.

The couple met when they shared a house in London while he was playing on the stage show Miss Saigon.

In his autobiography All Balls and Glitter: My Life, Craig stated, “Little by little, our intimacy developed into a real relationship.

“Jane actually thought I was gay when we first met.

“In early 1990, Jane and I became an item.

“We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment in Crouch End that was very romantic – a bit like Robert Redford and Jane Fonda in Barefoot in the Park.”

Unfortunately, the relationship ended when she allegedly cheated on him with another man.

Craig explains, “I discovered the affair just before our two-year anniversary.”

In December 2014, he said OK !: “I’ve been bisexual for a long time.

“Between the ages of 17 and 26 I commuted back and forth between men and women quite often.

“My wife Jane left me for another man.

“Then I fell in love with a guy. I’ve been gay ever since. “

Craig Revel Horwood got married – who is his partner now?

After his divorce, Craig dated British entertainer Damon Scott, who later finished second in Britain’s Got Talent.

He has been in a committed relationship with the gardener Jonathan Myring since the beginning of 2018.

In April 2020, Craig and Jonathan announced their engagement.

The couple, who met on the Strictly Tour, got engaged in Tasmania.

Jonathan is 22 years younger than Craig.

Craig has no children.

He and Jonathan currently live in a country house in Middlecot, Quarley, Hampshire that was recently brought to market.

The seven bedroom house has a pool, huge driveway, large outdoor area, and sauna.

Rightmove had it listed for just under £ 3.3 million.

The two great friends step off the dance floor to take in some spectacular sights around beautiful Britain.

The Strictly judges visit six of the ultimate panoramic routes.

These include Cornwall to the Cotswolds and the Yorkshire Dales to the Lake District.

In episode one, they start out in Cornwall and squabble from Padstow to Penzance.

You will stop for a fishing trip in Newquay, a dance with the Fisherman’s Friends and a bottle or two of Cornish Rosé.

Craig and Bruno’s Great British Road Trips begin Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 8 p.m. on ITV1.
