Dan Osborne has revealed that his beloved Nan has died of coronavirus.

The former TOWIE star shared the sad news on Monday on the occasion of her birthday on Instagram.

Dan said “it’s been a few days” and his grandpa misses her “like crazy”.

What did Dan Osborne say about his Nan?

He wrote next to a photo of himself, his grandfather, his Nan and his wife Jacqueline Jossa on their wedding day: “Happy birthday to my Nan too.

“I can’t believe it after all these years on this planet, we lost you to this virus.

“It’s only been a few days and Grandpa misses you like crazy.”

Dan thanks the fans for messages of support

He added, “Please give him strength. We love you, Nan. “

The star later thanked fans for their messages of support.

Dan said, “I just want to thank you for all of the messages that wish me and my family your thoughts and love.

“It sucks, this virus. Anyone with old people in your life, be extra careful. Be careful.

“My Nan was fine a week and a half ago and now she’s not with us. It hasn’t even sunk in yet.

“My nan wanted to work every day before this rubbish happened. Just be careful.

“I just wanted to say thank you so much for your lovely news, it really means a lot.”

Dan’s sad family news comes after it was revealed that Captain Sir Tom Moore tested positive for the virus.

His daughter Hannah posted a statement to Twitter to confirm that her 100-year-old father had been hospitalized.

She said, “He has been treated for pneumonia for the past few weeks and tested positive for COVID-19 last week.

“He was at home to this day when he needed extra help with breathing.

“He’s being treated in a ward even though he’s not in the intensive care unit.”

Meanwhile, Sir Tom’s family later said he did not receive the COVID-19 vaccine because of the drugs he was taking for his pneumonia.
