30th of November
It soon became known that Rita had ignored the lockdown rules.
The Anywhere singer used social media to apologize for her behavior.
“Given the limitations, I understand how irresponsible these actions were and I take full responsibility,” she wrote in a statement.
“I am very sorry that I broke the rules, and I understand that doing so puts people at risk.
“This was a serious and inexcusable error of assessment.”
There was a huge backlash on social media, with the singer being classified as “selfish” and “ignorant” by disappointed fans.
Rita apologized for the second time when the public learned of her secret work trip to Egypt two weeks earlier.
“When I returned to the UK, I should have isolated myself for the time required.
“I did not take the government’s advice and apologized for it earlier this week. I apologize once again without reservation, ”she said.
Jan 28 – Fans want Rita Ora to be fired because of a lockdown party
The Metropolitan Police asked the Kensington and Chelsea Council licensing subcommittee to revoke the restaurant’s license in west London during a meeting.
Officials told the committee that it was “one of the most egregious and certainly notorious violations of Covid regulations”.
The committee was also informed that the manager who allowed Rita to attend the party has been fired.
In response to the news, fans rushed to social media to blow up the star.
There are even calls to Rita to get the sack from The Masked Singer.
