How did Bobby Ball die?
Unfortunately, Bobby died of breathing problems in October 2020 after testing positive for coronavirus.
Bobby died at the Victoria Hospital in Blackpool at the age of 76.
Only a few months later he appeared in the festive special of Not Going Out.
He filmed her just weeks before his tragic death.
Does Bobby Ball appear in the new series of Not Going Out?
Lancashire-born Bobby will also appear in the 11th series of Not Going Out, which was also filmed before his death.
It appears for the first time in the third episode, which will air on Friday, January 22, 2021.
He will also appear in episode five.
Bobby plays Frank on the BBC sitcom, who is Lee Mack’s father.

Not going out Lee Mack said of the tragedy: “I am deeply shocked and devastated to lose my buddy Bobby like this.
“I only filmed with him a few weeks ago and he was his usual funny and sassy self.
“It was great to work with one of my childhood comedy heroes. But calling him a friend was even better. Rest in peace, Bobby. “
What did other stars say about Bobby?
Former EastEnders star Shane Richie said, “35 years ago my hero became my friend.
“You always knew when Bobby was in the room, he could make you laugh and cry with just one look.
“The biggest heart and the warmest smile that filled stages anywhere.”
Elsewhere Jason Manford said, “It’s so broken to read about the death of comedy legend Bobby Ball.
“Such a strange man. The comedy community is poorer without him. “
Don’t run out series 11
Due to COVID restrictions, the 11th series announced in 2019 has been postponed to 2021.
In addition to the 11th series, two other series have been confirmed.
They will be broadcast in 2021 and 2022 respectively.
What was Bobby Ball famous for?
Comedy legend Bobby was best known for his double punch with Tommy Cannon.
They hosted their own ITV show, The Cannon and Ball Show, for nine years between 1979 and 1988.
Bobby starred in a variety of sitcoms and dramas including Last of the Summer Wine, Heartbeat, Benidorm, and Not Going Out.
In 2005 he took part in the fifth series of I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!
Not Going Out returns to BBC One on Friday, January 8th, 2021 at 9:30 p.m.
