Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Bollywood actor Anupam Kher kept his excitement going and welcomed the New Year with a low-key celebration with the cast and crew of the movie ‘The Kashmir Files’. Anupam Kher celebrated the New Year with a lavish dinner party hosted by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri and Pallavi Joshi.
According to sources, “Anupam Kher, a talented actor, celebrated the New Year by filming late into the night and then having dinner with the social bubble in the hills of Uttarakhand. The reason for the party was to celebrate the New Year and to end Kher’s shooting on the film. It was a double joy for the actor on New Year’s Eve. “

Director Vivek Agnihotri says: “We have been working in very difficult terrain and in very difficult situations in very extremely cold weather for the past month. Lots of people got hurt, Mithun (Chakraborty) Da got sick and I broke the tape too, so people were extremely tired, but in the new years we decided to party while we were filming but then we decided to close social bubbles and then we have a social bubble party and that was also the closing of Mr. Anupam Kher, so it became like a double gold mine, the Kher graduation plus New Years Eve and like disciplined soldiers we just met and with bonfire and had a good dinner on the terrace at 12 noon, after we had all wished, we just left and had to report for the shoot the next day at 5 a.m. “

After the critical recognition of Agnihotri’s Tashkent files in April 2019, the filmmaker believes the Kashmiri files are a small step in informing the world, especially his compatriots, of the plight of the Kashmiri Hindus. The Kashmir Files with Anupam Kher in a key role is slated for 2021.
