This morning’s viewers think Eamonn Holmes is “rude” to a caller today.
It’s been a difficult few weeks for Eamonn and his wife, Ruth Langsford, after discovering they were being replaced on the show.
As a result, some viewers think this could be the cause of Eamonn’s naughty behavior on the Friday (December 4th) show.
Some viewers objected to Eamonn’s behavior towards a viewer who had called as part of Spin to Win.
The woman answered the phone and didn’t seem to notice that Eamonn was on the other end.
Instead of saying the passphrase, she just said “Hello”.
“Who is that, what’s your name?” Asked Eamonn. “You are on national television.”
After initial confusion, she told the couple her name was Denise. Eamonn got it wrong and then replied, “Lynn?”
Ruth told him that the caller was actually called Denise and the hosts brought her the message that she could not join the game because she did not respond with the passphrase.
As a result, Eamonn ended the call by referring to Denise as a “loser”.
What did This Morning viewers say about Eamonn Holmes?
Fans rushed to social media to find out about Eamonn’s “unprofessional” behavior in the air.
How embarrassing and humiliating and rude it is to do this to Denise makes Eamonn and Ruth wonder why they stand apart and talk to someone in horrible ways #This morning

Oh why is Eamonn Holmes doing this? Just try to embarrass people for your own fun. They don’t know what might be wrong with them in their life. Especially this year. To call them a loser is pretty pathetic @this morning #This morning

However, some people defended Eamonn.
They said, “People complained that Eamonn was rude to Denise on the phone after she screwed up.
“She was rude at first and she admitted to having come in every day and still being upset.”
One viewer tweeted: “Denise was pretty rude so she deserved Eamonn rubbing her face in it #This morning.”
While another added, “I think Denise was rude!”
What did Eamonn say about being banned from the show?
Following news that they lost their Friday slot on the show, Eamonn and Ruth made a statement.
It read: “From January there is a changing of the guard on Fridays.
“We hope that you will make Alison and Dermot as welcome as you have made us over the years. Have a ball you both!
“It’s not a goodbye from us, it’s just Au Revoir until the next half.”
Unfortunately, their move was not well received by everyone.
Alison, 45, reportedly has meetings with ITV after receiving online abuse.
