EastEnders fans are stunned after Scott Maslen reveals his real age.

The Jack Branning actor turns 50 today and soap fans refuse to accept it.

He posted a picture of his cake and revealed his real age to his shocked fans.

Scott titled the snapshot: “I’m officially half a century old !! 50 !? Thank you John Wright for my great #carp #fish cake ”

Fans were shocked by Scott’s age – his youthful looks didn’t tell.

“Um, excuse me, you’re not really 50, are you ?!” tweeted one, adding, “Happy birthday, I hope you get spoiled.”

A second said, “You look great for a 50 year old Happy Birthday Scott hope you have an amazing day / night.”

A third commented, “You really don’t look that way !! Happy Birthday Scott! “

Not only were fans shocked, but Jack’s co-stars flocked to wish him a happy birthday.

Rita Simons, who played his on-screen wife Roxy Mitchell, said, “Happy birthday, you massive one [expletive]!!

“Miss you! Have the best day (and @estellerubio looks absolutely gorgeous in your pictures) love the devil.”

Callum Highway actor Tony Clay said, “Happy birthday buddy !!”

And Jack Derges wrote: “Happy half a century, Scott! Have a good buddy. “

Who plays Scott Maslen in EastEnders?

Actor Scott Maslen plays Jack Branning in EastEnders.

He was a model who turned to acting and began his career with a role on the television series Lock, Stock….

Scott starred as DS Phil Hunter on The Bill for several years before getting the role of Jack in 2007.

He stayed on the show until 2013, then returned in late 2015.

In addition to acting, Scott took part in Strictly Come Dancing in 2010, along with pro dancer Natalie Lowe. And he also wowed the jury in Celebrity Masterchef.

Scott is married to Mrs. Estelle and they have a son named Zak.

One of his best friends is Samantha Womack, who played his on-screen love interest Ronnie Mitchell.

When Jack and Ronnie got together, Scott and Sam worried that it was going to be weird, having been close friends for so many years that they felt like brother and sister.

But they survived for years and remain friends.
