EastEnders star celebrates becoming a grandfather

Danny Dyer, who plays Mick Carter in EastEnders, celebrated becoming a grandfather after his daughter Dani was born.

Dani, who won the Love Island series in 2018, announced on Instagram that she had given birth to a son.

Actor Danny shared a picture of his daughter and grandson on his Instagram account, excited about the new family member.

He titled the post: “So my baby had a baby. [Bleep] I needed some joy this year.

“So proud of @danidyerxx. I can’t wait to meet the little beauty. “

Danny’s EastEnders co-stars were quick to send congratulatory messages to Danny.

Rose Ayling-Ellis, who plays Danny’s on-screen daughter Frankie Lewis, commented, “Congratulations! I am so happy for you.”

Gurlaine Kaur Garcha, who plays Ash Kaur, wrote: “Congratulations!”

Lorraine Stanley, who plays Karen Taylor, said, “Congratulations Grandpa!”

Davood Ghadami, who plays Kush Kazemi, commented on a red love heart emoji and Danny Hatchard, who plays Mick’s son Lee, commented on claps and heart emojis.

In July last year, Danny announced that she was expecting her first child with boyfriend Sammy Kimmence.

So my baby had a baby. [Bleep] I needed some joy this year.

She kept her followers informed of her pregnancy via Instagram.

When she announced the arrival of her son yesterday (Sunday, January 24th), she wrote: “After a very long day and a long night, our special little boy finally arrived on January 23rd, 2021.

EastEnders airs Mondays at 8:05 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:35 p.m., and Fridays at 8:30 p.m. on BBC One.
