Birthday celebrations are in the air for Eijaz Khan. The actor, who turns a year older on August 28, is fortunate to be 46 years old. “I turned 46 today… Wow! Turning 40 was a milestone, and now I’m on the other side of 45, I should be older and smarter. But I think I’m going in the opposite direction ”, he laughs and adds:“ Pavitra (Punia; girlfriend, actor and entrepreneur) had planned a surprise for me. We are in Coorg in the natural environment. I love to connect with nature. “
Eijaz isn’t too hot on birthdays, he feels rather uncomfortable with all the attention that comes with it. “Like in ‘Ohhh it’s birthday today’, I have to do something special, I have to stand out, I have to do something extraordinary, etc … When I’m forced to do something, it scares me off, when things happen naturally, I like it more. This is the first birthday I’ll be spending with Pavitra so I’m looking forward to it. I don’t know, maybe we’re traveling, we’re going to a forest reserve, or we’re going camping, things have opened up. I usually ride my bike on my birthdays and have done a lot of solo trips with my friends. This time I still don’t know what I’m doing, ”says the Bigg Boss 14 candidate.

In retrospect, one of his favorite birthday memories from childhood is this one incident that revolves around cameras and photo studios, both of which used to be quite expensive. “I remember visiting a photo studio before the birthday party so that we could click on a photo on that occasion. There was a lot of powder applied to my face and they made me stand in front of the camera and take a picture. It was fun. We got new clothes on birthdays and I was very excited about this gift. I remember getting power trainers once and it was big business back then, ”he adds.
Has the meaning of birthday after 40 changed? “As much as we say age is just a number, I guess as you get older you tell yourself to pause, think, find out what the true meaning of life is and pursue the same because I think that we’re done with it. ”The mistakes we made when we were younger, we’re done thinking to ourselves that we know our weaknesses and also our positive sides. I am now thinking of doing everyday things and taking more risks. I think these are the things that have changed for me, ”says the actor who came from the TV shows Kahiin To Hoga, KKusum, Kkavyanjali, Kyaa Hoga Nimmo Kaa and the films Tanu Weds Manu, Zilla Ghaziabad, Tanu Weds Manu Returns is known.
There is a saying that life starts at 40. “I think stagnation comes when we become a little more sensible. Even though I keep making mistakes, I am still learning. I will always be a student. I’m still moving, ”he signs.
