EastEnders spoilers are coming! The BBC has signed Emily Atack’s mother, Kate Robbins, in a shocking new role.
The mother of showbiz legend, I’m A Celebrity star, will play an old sidekick of Brian Conley’s character Rocky in a shocking new story for Whitney Dean.

Kate, 62, will join the BBC soap next month as Jen Glover, a music producer.
Jen will lead Shona McGarty’s Whitney’s emerging pop career.
Described as “straightforward” Jen is sure to make an impact on the pitch.

A source said that Sun on sunday: “Everyone was very excited to bring Kate on board for the role because they felt it would be a perfect fit.
“Not only is she a great actress, but she’s also very experienced in the music industry. And they weren’t disappointed – she did a brilliant job. “
Commenting on her role on EastEnders, Kate said, “I’m so excited to be on the show as Jen. We had a lot of fun filming the scenes. Working with the team was a dream. “
Who is EastEnders newcomer Kate Robbins?
In her new role, Kate also has musical experience to draw from.
She became famous in 1980 as part of the Prima Donna group.
You represented Great Britain at the Eurovision Song Contest and came third.
As a solo star, Kate had a top ten hit in 1981 with More Than Love.
The actress is no stranger to Soap Country either, as she starred in Crossroads.
Kate also headlined her own show with famous brother Ted Robbins – The Ted and Kate Show.

She even landed her own sketch show and later appeared in Victoria Wood’s dinner ladies.
The actress also worked as a voice actress for Spitting Image, but despite her success, she is not the most famous member of the family.
This honor goes to Sir Paul McCartney – her cousin.
