Former Emmerdale star Sophia Amber Moore, who played the young Sarah Sugden, has announced that she would like to go to Coronation Street.
Sophia starred in Yorkshire Soap as Sarah Sudgen Jr. from 2007 to 2016
During her time as Sarah, the character was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition called Fanconi anemia.
She also developed leukemia while waiting for a bone marrow transplant from her younger sibling, Jack.

In 2016, Sophia left the show. The following year, the role of Sarah was taken over by Katie Hill.

Now Sophia revealed her plans to continue playing in an exclusive chat with Entertainment Daily.

ED! Sophia asked if she kept playing since leaving the soap and she said: “Not recently. I concentrated on my school life and my high school diploma until I found a suitable casting agency that I like and that lets me work. “
And the lead role in another soap is definitely on the wish list. “Yes, I would like to be on Coronation Street,” she told us.
Acting ambitions from a young age
Sophia joined the Emmerdale cast when she was very young, but she knew that as a little girl she wanted to get into acting and had to be professional.
She said, “From a young age I understood that this is what I wanted to do with my career and, despite my age, I had to remain professional to be successful.

“I always enjoyed when my scripts were sent to my house and I sat down with my mom to arrange them into the scenes I was in and what I needed to learn.
She added, “I knew everything on set wasn’t real life, but I had to pretend that my character was portrayed as best as possible.
“I loved every moment I had on screen with the cast and crew. I am very grateful that I was cast in the role of Sarah for a long time. “
Sophia shares her memories from Emmerdale
Speaking of her memory of the set, she said, “I remember going to the studio and looking forward to having my hair and makeup done before going on the set and filming.

“And even when the big storylines, including the cancer story, came up, the big pre-film rehearsals always got me excited to play the scene.”
