Everything from Lisey’s story to physical

Apple TV + in June 2021 has everything from a trip to the 80s to a brand new Stephen King thriller.

Hell, it’s even for new parts of a comedy cartoon musical so there really is something for everyone.

So what releases to look forward to (and what shows have some more episodes to be dropped on to keep us posted?)

Here is everything that arrives or gets updated this month.

Which TV series will be on Apple TV + in June 2021?

Lisey’s story (June 4th)

In this limited adaptation by Stephen King, Julianne Moore plays Lisey Landon, who mourns the death of her husband, the famous writer Scott Landon.

Two years later, a series of troubling events brings Lisey back to memories of her marriage to Scott, which she has purposely put from her mind.

Clive Owen plays her husband Scott in the flashbacks, while Joan Allen, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Dane DeHaan complete the cast.

The series was also written by King himself.

Home Before Dark Season 2 (June 11)

Another mystery, Home Before Dark, is inspired by the coverage of a young investigative journalist, Hilde Lysiak.

When a mysterious explosion hits a local farm, reporter Hilde Lisko (Prince) begins an investigation that will lead her to fight a powerful and influential corporation.

Soon, however, the health of her family and that of Erie Harbor was in equilibrium.

Physical (June 18)

This is the big one for Apple TV + in June 2021.

Set in San Diego in the 1980s, Physical is a dark comedy that follows Rose Byrne as Sheila, a housewife whose life changes forever after discovering the world of aerobics.

Soon she will go into business on her own doing exercise bands, which will give her a new sense of empowerment when she becomes a lifestyle guru.

The problem, however, is balancing this with her personal life and her ambitious and problematic husband.

The first three episodes will air on June 18 and will then be canceled weekly.

Central Park Season Two (June 25)

Josh Gad, Leslie Odom Jr., Kristen Bell, Kathryn Hahn, Tituss Burgess, Daveed Diggs and Stanley Tucci are the stars of this cartoon musical.

After the life of the Tillerman family, Central Park follows the group as they live and care for the New York landmark.

However, the younger family members also deal with the youth and the problems that come with it – and then there is Bitsy who wants to claim Central Park as her own.

Paige continues to follow the mayor’s corruption story, and Owen juggles with the park administration, its staff and family with a smile on his face.

The first three episodes will air on June 25th and will then be canceled weekly.

What shows are getting new episodes on Apple TV + in June?

Try (new episodes weekly)

Jason and Nikki’s adoption battle continues in this heartwarming British sitcom about what it means to have a family.

Now, after being approved by the Adoption Board, they find that matching a child is not as straightforward as they hoped it would be.

After meeting a young seven-year-old named Princess, the two now have to argue that they are the ones they should adopt as their own.

However, their plans are derailed by a last minute trip to Cornwall following a family death.

Mythic Quest (new episodes weekly)

Mythic Quest revolves around the developers of the popular game Raven’s Banquet and follows the “creative differences” behind the scenes.

After the quarantine ends, everyone in the office tries to build on the success of the game by launching an expansion in season two.

That’s when they can figure out how the game is going to work.

Later this week, Please Sign Here, Mythic Quest employees are causing havoc by refusing to sign a simple job evaluation.

It’s always Sunny Rob McElhenney directs the cast of this comedy.

All titles will be available on Apple TV + from June.
