What is the fourth series of The Syndicate about?

The new series focuses on a group of workers in the Woodvale Kennels.

This loyal team is devastated when they hear that the owners are planning to sell the kennels to a larger company.

Fearing for their future livelihoods, they are overjoyed when they think they have hit the lottery jackpot.

But it soon becomes apparent that everything is not quite what it seems and they have to fight for what they see as right.

On the hunt for the perpetrator, they travel to the glamorous southern France.

Neil Morrissey as Frank

Line of Duty and the unforgettable actor Neil Morrissey, 58, plays Frank. He’s a gamer and works in the newsagents from where the winning ticket is claimed. If the ticket is lost, the kennel workers suspect that Frank has something to do with it.

Liberty Hobbs as Gemma

Grey’s Anatomy and Criminal Minds’ 24-year-old actress Liberty plays Gemma. She works part-time in the kennels and also looks after her Nanna. She hopes to use the lottery winnings as revenge for a family tragedy.

Taj Atwal as Roxy

Line of Duty and In The Club actress Taj Atwal, 33, plays Roxy. She is a kennel worker and friend of Sam. She is stunned to find out she is pregnant after believing she will never have children.

Joe Sugg as Sam

29-year-old former Strictly candidate and YouTube star Joe Sugg plays the unemployed musician Sam. He is the friend of the kennel worker Roxy and he dreams of making him big as a famous rock star.

Emily Head as Colette

Inbetweeners and Emmerdale actress Emily plays Colette, another kennel worker.

Kieran Urquhart as Jake

Kieran plays Jake, another kennel worker. He’s in and out of court, fighting for custody of his daughter. He believes the profits could help change both lives. The actor’s previous roles include appearances in Vera and Humans.

Gaynor Faye as Cheryl

The 49-year-old soap star Gaynor plays the newspaper seller Cheryl, who is engaged to Frank. You can recognize Gaynor by roles in Coronation Street, Emmerdale, and Fat Friends.

Katie McGlynn as Georgina

Former Coronation Street actress Katie McGlynn plays Georgina in The Syndicate. This is her first major role since leaving the cobblestones. And her character is shown fighting for custody of her daughter with her ex, Jake.

Katherine Rose Morley as Keeley

Thirteen-year-old actress The Mill, Rose Morley, plays Keeley. She is an online gambling addict and believes she finally achieved great success when she discovers that her syndicate group has a winning card.

Kym Marsh as Donna

Former Corrie star and Hear’Say singer Kym Marsh, 44, plays Donna. She is Keeley’s mother and the couple is said to have some kind of love and hate mother-daughter relationship.

When does the Syndicate’s new series run?

The Syndicate series has four stars on Tuesday, March 30th at 9pm on BBC One.

The episode will air on BBC iPlayer shortly after it first aired.
