First Dates star Fred Sirieix stunned fans when he shared a rare snapshot of himself with long locks.
The restaurant Maître D ‘, 48, looked very different in the throwback photo while posing openly next to a buddy.
The photo, taken in 1998, showed Fred closely watching a bottle of Tokajer, a sweet Hungarian wine.

“The pretty girl in the photo is an old friend of mine named @ joelle.marti16. We went to the catering college together.
“When I started my career as Front of House at La Tante Claire on Royal Hospital Road in 1992, she stayed in France for another year to study and specialize in wine. This bold move paid off shortly after arriving in the UK. She became the first female sommelier at Conran @lepontdelatourldn with the legend GM @fischnallerpatrick. “
He also added, “It was here that I drank Tokaj for the first time.
“What a revelation it was, so sweet, so different and different from any of the sweet wines I was used to. Tokaj is Hungary’s most famous and respected wine region, mainly because of its nectar-like, botrytized Tokaj dessert wines.

“This small wine region is located in northeast Hungary near the border with Slovakia.”
Fred closed the post with a detailed explanation from fans about the wine.

How did Fred start his career?
Fred was born and raised in Limoges in western France.
He attended the catering college and initially trained as a chef, but decided to move in front of the house.
From there he trained as a maître d ‘in France before moving to London.
In addition to appearing on First Dates of 2013, he also hosts the BBC’s Million Pound Menu.
In the meantime, last year, the TV star asked his girlfriend, who he affectionately calls Fruitcake, the question.
He shared a picture with only half of her face and said to his followers, “Fruitcake said yes.”
