Multiplayer modification of your dreams!
FiveM was created by CitizenFX Collective as a modification for Grand Theft Auto V. This utility tool allows you to call custom servers intended for playing GTA V in multiplayer mode. Although it was not created by the Grand Theft Auto developers – Rockstar Games, the mod is maintained by a community of programmers called Cfx.re. With FiveM, servers get access to customized cars, maps, weapons and the original A.I. game.
What is GTA FiveM?
FiveM is a modification for Grand Theft Auto V that allows you to play multiplayer on modified servers controlled by Cfx.re. It only supports 32 slots in the original RAGE network framework. For a highly regarded game, expect the servers to reach full capacity quickly. This is remedied by the new synchronization framework called OneSync. It’s a beta version of the server build with higher slot counts and a preview window. Using OneSync doesn’t mean you have to rewrite your server code. FiveM additionally broadcasts with a modified single player mode. This transfers the FiveM experience to single player. You will need a legitimate savegame of the original game for this to work. Save your game at least once before running FiveM SP, and duplicate it in the FiveM profile registry under Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V. FiveM allows the use of certain modules. You can introduce them by going to your module organizer in the FiveM application envelope. In this envelope, you can place numerous kinds of .asi content that you would normally use in single player mode.
How to install FiveM
- Extract the rar file to a folder somewhere on your computer.
- Run the file and select your GTA 5 directory.
- FiveM will start downloading all the necessary files.
- After launching, choose a nickname in the settings window.
- Connect directly or select a server and click on it.
- Have fun playing FiveM.
Safe To Use
FiveM is a mod for Grand Theft Auto V that offers a new online experience with more customization options.
FiveM is perfectly safe to use as a mod and will not cause your Grand Theft Auto V online account to be locked or suspended. This is because the original game files remain unaffected by this software.
Switching back to your single-player game is simple, since the modification can be quickly disabled. This is ideal for moments when you want to go online after a solo game
It is also effortless to switch between the servers of the FiveM modification and those available while playing the standard online mode. You don’t have to uninstall the software or move files to return to the base game modes.
However, the software itself is buggy and causes crashes half the time. These can often ruin your server experience and require you to restart the game. The crashes occur regardless of your computer’s performance, but can be avoided by not running low-quality scripts.
There are many server formats available for playing, the most popular being role-playing games and races. You can also develop your own game modes if you have your own server. You can choose which scripts to run and optimize them to prevent player crashes.
