Freddie ‘should be knighted’

Last year, Freddie opened his secret battle against bulimia.

The cricketer who became a Top Gear presenter shared details of his devastating illness in his own BBC documentary.

In the documentary, Freddie revealed that he had hidden his struggles with the disease for years.

Early in his career, he said fans and the press mocked him for his weight.

The comments caused him to force himself to get sick.

Freddie said, “My weight went down. It was like, “I’m boss!”

“I became known as a fat cricketer. It was terrible. That’s where I started.

“At that time I got sick after eating. Then things happened for me as a player. “

The star continued, “My weight dropped. It was like, “I can do it.” It just kept going and I’ve been doing it the whole time. “

As a result, he said he believed his bulimia was helping him become successful.

“Everyone was happy with me,” he added.

Fortunately, Freddie managed to fight the disease and is now an attorney to help others who have suffered.

Top Gear will continue on BBC1 next Sunday at 8 p.m.
