A few films from last year were released and Anand Pandits Chehre has now joined this club. Chehre with megastar Amitabh Bachchan and teenage favorite Emraan Hashmi has finally been released in cinemas all over India and the response from film fans on the first day itself is overwhelming. The journey from the days of script reading, rehearsals, production, post-production to this day has certainly been a roller coaster ride with some ups and downs for anyone associated with the film.
On this occasion, Emraan Hashmi, who plays alongside Big B in the film, shares “For me, of course, a dream has come true. My memories of Amitabh Bachchan go back to the days when I refused lunch to see his films and today I shared the screen with him. What more could I ask for? “
The man who made this magic possible – producer Anand Pandit shares, “Chehre is like my baby and that’s why I took the necessary care for this film. People always wanted to see Bachchan Ji and Emraan together and I’m glad we did it. As a producer, I am thrilled to have finally worked with Bachchan ji, because from watching Deewar 42 times to signing the same superstar for my own film, it was a great journey! “
Produced by Anand Pandit Motion Pictures & Saraswati Entertainment Private Limited, directed by Rumy Jafry, “Chehre” also stars Annu Kapoor, Krystle D’Souza, Dhritiman Chatterjee, Raghubir Yadav, Siddhanth Kapoor and Rhea Chakraborty. The film was released in theaters near you.
