GMB host Ben Shephard was compared to his ITV co-star Piers Morgan today (March 4th).
The comparisons were made after the interview by Ben and co-moderator Susanna Reid with Chancellor Rishi Sunak.
It is fair to say that the presenting couple and MP collided, with Ben being compared to GMB co-star Piers for “constantly” interrupting Sunak.

They added that Sunak “couldn’t complete a single sentence.”
Don’t be a piers and talk about him to make yourself more popular. Have him answer the question and then ask your question. It can’t be that hard.
“Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard keeps interrupting Sunak and not letting him complete a single sentence, ”one viewer tweeted.
“When does this hostile narrative that you continue on this show end? These are unprecedented times – give the man a break and let him explain the budget. “

Another added: “Ben and Susanna not letting Rishi speak for more than five seconds is so annoying. “
“The Piers Morgan Influence”
Then came Piers Morgan’s comparisons.

However, among the negative comments were some viewers who praised Ben’s appeal to the Chancellor.
“Many thanks to @benshephard and @GMB for pushing this forward today.
“Unfortunately we have a Chancellor who still doesn’t want to take the time to understand who the excluded are. No understanding, no empathy, no support, ”they said.
“Absolutely right for Ben,” said another.
