Herzog moves hospitals again after heart surgery

In the latest news from Prince Philip, the Duke has withdrawn to King Edward VII’s hospital.

Buckingham Palace confirmed Friday that the Duke of Edinburgh had left St. Bartholomew’s Hospital after successful heart surgery.

However, the 99-year-old Philip will remain in the hospital for “a few days”.

A statement said: “After the Duke of Edinburgh’s successful procedure at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital on Wednesday, he was transferred to King Edward VII’s Hospital this morning.

“He is expected to stay in the hospital for a few days.”

Earlier this week, the palace confirmed that Philip had undergone a procedure for a pre-existing heart condition.

A statement said: “His Royal Highness will stay in the hospital for a few days to rest and recuperate.”

In the meantime, on Wednesday, Philip’s daughter-in-law gave Camilla an update on his health.

She visited a vaccination center in Croydon and said he had “improved slightly”.

She also added: “We’ll keep our fingers crossed.”

Philip has been in the hospital since February 16 when he was admitted as a “precautionary measure”.

How is philip

Buckingham Palace later confirmed that the Duke had an infection and “responded to treatment”.

Last week Philip moved to St. Bartholomew’s Hospital for further treatment and “observation” for a pre-existing heart condition.

Last month, Prince William and Prince Edward each gave an update on Philip’s health.

Meanwhile, the Queen has stayed at Windsor Castle and continued her royal duties.

A video of the Queen speaking with the Governor of South Australia, Hieu Van Le, was shared on the royal family’s social media pages.

The fans praised Her 94-year-old majesty for performing her duties despite Philip’s condition.
