However, she left the project a week before it started, blaming her busy schedule.
At the time, Holly said, “Something had to give. We talked for a long time and it was clear to all of us that I couldn’t integrate it into my life. “
Tara Capp told The Times, “We’ve been working hard on developing the business for 18 months and Holly has decided she can’t set the time.
“We fully supported your decision to do what’s right for you and your family.”
Peter, who also owns a 40 percent stake in Holly’s husband’s television production company, was “angry” according to The Sun.
In a recent interview with The Telegraph, Tara appears to confirm that Holly’s departure from the £ 11 million company broke their friendship.
When asked about friendship, Tara says, “Euggh. I’m not going to pretend. It was devastating. We were extraordinarily close. And of course, as a company, you really feel the loss of a prominent face. “

Dragons’ Den series 18
Dragons’ Den moved to BBC One, but not much has changed in Den for Series 18.
Evan Davis is still hosting the show and the five “no-nonsense titans” have returned.
Entrepreneurs Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden, Touker Suleyman, Tej Lalvani and Sara Davies are all open to business and more money.
One thing has changed though – no handshakes or hugs are allowed.
In this first episode, two tea entrepreneurs find themselves in hot water when asked for their numbers.
The dragons discover hidden artistic talent when a mindfulness art business is built.
And an optical inventor hopes to have an investment in sight with his anti-glare glasses.
Meanwhile, a couple have the needs of NHS staff at the center of their skin care business.
Dragons’ Den returns to BBC One on Thursday April 1st, 2021 at 8 p.m.
