Valentine’s Day is here and we look back to when Prince Charles and Princess Diana took over the world with their relationship.
The couple had been married for 15 years and welcomed two children – Prince William and Prince Harry – during their marriage.

After the ceremony, the couple stuck to the tradition and appeared on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.
They shared a kiss, much to the delight of the crowd watching below. This moment shows that the couple have been happiest since announcing their engagement.
Diana spoke to Andrew Morton in her biography Diana: Her True Story in Her Own Words: “I remember being so in love with my husband that I couldn’t take my eyes off him.
“I just absolutely thought I was the happiest girl in the world.”

Diana and Charles on their honeymoon
After their wedding, Charles and Diana embarked on their honeymoon – a 14-day cruise aboard the royal yacht Britannia.
The couple ended their short break at Balmoral Castle in Scotland.

Become parents of their firstborn son Prince William

The couple kissed when she was at a polo match in 1985 presented him with a polo award in Cirencester.

Meanwhile, they also had a romantic hickey at a polo game in 1987 after Diana presented Charles with an award Guards Polo Club.
But the kisses didn’t stop there. During the same game, Diana kissed Charles again after presenting him with another polo award.
In 1992, Charles kissed his wife while visiting Jaipur, India.
