Actor Avinash Mukherjee, who starred in Sasural Simar Ka 2, is a handsome young man and his weight loss journey is just amazing. In just eight months, he lost 16 kg and even wrote a book on his weight loss story. He says there came a point in his life where he didn’t like and feel the way he looked in the mirror, if you like yourself in the mirror, then others will like you too.
The actor was physically ashamed when he appeared on the show “Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki”. At the time, he weighed about 86 kg, but within eight months he reduced it to 70 kg. Sharing his inspiring journey, he said, “I did a show called Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki,” I was 14 or 15 years old at the time. At that time, I could afford to eat junk food every day and still get away with it. I’ve always been tall and by the time I was 15 I was about 5’11 ”and the weight wasn’t really visible. But then I realized that where I wanted to work, my extra weight shouldn’t be visible there. “
“I know there’s nothing wrong with that, but I didn’t like the way I looked in the mirror. If you like yourself in the mirror, others will like you too. The world just replies that you think what I personally believe. It took eight months, my height increased from 5’11 “to 6 feet and my weight decreased from 86 kg to 70 kg,” he added.

The “Balika Vadhu” star had a habit of consuming milk and bournvita every morning, but when he decided to cut out sugar, he gave up that habit too. About the same thing, he said, “As a child, I had a habit of drinking milk with bournvita and four spoons of sugar. My grandfather stirred them until the sugar and bournvita dissolved. It became a lifelong habit from KG until I was 10th and 11th, I continued this as my morning ritual. But if you want to achieve anything you have to give up some habits, so I had to drop sugar. It soon became clear to me that if I have the willpower not to have sugar, why should I have chocolates at all, and if I’m at it, let’s just do anything for it. In the first month myself, I lost 2 kg without exercise or diet. And when I saw my success, I wrote a book that is available on Amazon. “

Then I have chana, bread butter and poached eggs. Then I have protein shakes after a workout. If I don’t feel like it, I have a bowl of Chana. My dad recommends Chana instead of a protein shake. Then I have dinner at 12 or 1 in the morning, which consists of chicken or vegetables, dal, rajma, and anything that contains protein. “
