Who is Emilia Fox and how is she famous?
Emilia Fox is a British actress who has been on television since portraying Georgiana Darcy in Pride and Prejudice in 1995.
She made her film debut in Roman Polanski’s award-winning film The Pianist.
TV viewers probably know her best for her role as Dr. Nikki Alexander in the BBC crime drama Silent Witness.
She joined the cast in 2004 after Amanda Burton left.
From 2019 to 2020 she performed on Celebrity Gogglebox with her actress mother Joanna David and cousin Laurence Fox.
This week she turns to something very different in In the Footsteps of a Killer on C4 as she investigates a real crime.
What else did Emilia star in?
Emilia has been playing for more than two decades.
Her roles included Rebecca in the TV adaptation of the book of the same name by Daphne du Maurier and Clara in David Copperfield.
She also starred in Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased) alongside her real-life fiancé Vic Reeves (although they never married).
Emilia has appeared in Marple, Merlin, The Wrong Mans and The Tunnel.
In 2009 she played Queen Elizabeth II in The Queen.

Emilia Fox and Professor David Wilson are at the forefront of this new C4 series that explores several unsolved murders.
In every episode, Silent Witness star Emilia and criminologist David Wilson open a cold case.
In the Killer’s footsteps uses the latest forensic science and criminological research to uncover new insights into these troubling cases, looking for new clues that the original investigation may have missed.
Emilia and David travel to the crime scene, interview the witnesses, suspects, friends and families of the victims and try to get an idea of what exactly happened.
Emilia Fox said, “I am delighted that Alaska and Channel 4 have given David and me the chance to explore and shed light on these fascinating unsolved cases.
“We will use this platform to raise awareness and hopefully provide new evidence for these true crimes that have gone under the radar.”
In the first episode, the two reassess the disappearance of young Birmingham boys David Spencer and Patrick Warren in 1996.
On the trail of the killers starts on Wednesday, June 9th, 2021 at 10 p.m. on channel 4.
