Susan Calman is back on TV – what do you know about the former Strictly star, how is she still friends with Kevin Clifton?
Susan addressed rumors today that she was on The Masked Singer when she pocketed her new show Susan Calman’s Grand Days Out.
The 46-year-old Scottish comedian chatted with 61-year-old Lorraine Kelly about her new Channel 5 travelogue.
But ITV presenter Lorraine couldn’t resist asking her Scottish colleague if she was one of the costumed celebrities on The Masked Singer.
Lorraine said, “Miss Susan – can you tell whether you are the little dragon in The Masked Singer or not? Are you in there “
This caused Susan to burst into a fit of giggling.
Before I say, “This is the most flattering rumor I think has ever been spread.
“So I didn’t know about it until a few days ago.

“Last season of The Masked Singer – I love it – I think it’s great.
“I would sit at home and my wife think – I wonder if this person is it? I wonder if it’s that person? “
Is Susan Calman on The Masked Singer?
Susan eventually denied that she was the dragon in The Masked Singer.
She said, “I am not.
“But my goodness, thank you for thinking it.”

Why is Susan Calman famous?
Susan Calman is a famous Scottish comedian who made a name for herself by appearing as a panelist on various UK television and radio quiz shows.

Susan was a successful corporate attorney before giving up her legal career for a life in comedy.
She worked for seven years as a specialist in freedom of information and data protection.
Unsatisfied, she began attending evening comedy classes and practicing her routines in local clubs and gigs.
With the semifinals of the BBC New Comedy Awards 2005, however, it reached its kick start in the comedy scene.
She then started her career as a stand-up comedian and also as an actress.
Susan played the therapist Nadine in the hit Channel 4 comedy series Fresh Meat in 2013. This was followed by her award-winning Radio 4 comedy series Susan Calman is Convicted.
After a successful panel discussion on CBBC’s The Dog Ate My Panelist, she became a regular panelist on BBC Two’s QI, Would I Lie to You? and The Radio Quiz from BBC Radio 4.
In 2017 she hosted the daily quiz show The Boss on BBC One and hosted BBC One’s Armchair Detectives.
In the same year she took part in Strictly Come Dancing. Along with Kevin Clifton, they were the ninth couple to be eliminated.
Is Susan Calman still good friends with Kevin Clifton?
You are safe – besties forever. In fact, Kevin announced last summer that they were collaborating on another work project.
He said, “Myself and Susan actually want to write a television drama based on the world of ballroom competitions.
“We have this idea for a script that we want to turn into a TV drama. She is angry. I get on so well with her. “
Did Susan get a tattoo for Kevin during Strictly?
She sure did it and vice versa! Kevin explained on GMB: When I danced with Susan Calman in 2017, she joked that if we made it to Blackpool because we were always the favorites going out from the first week, if we made it to Blackpool she’d let her ‘I love Grimsby’ tattooed on her foot.
“So I jokingly said that I would get ‘I love Glasgow’ because that’s where she is from.
“And then it happened and then she got her tattoo, so I got locked up. I had to do it.”
He added that he has regretted it ever since!
Since then, Strictly Susan has been the new host of the Great British Menu on BBC Two and has started her own podcast series – Mrs Brightside: A Happy Look at the Depression on BBC Sounds.
Since February 2019 she has hosted her own travel show Secret Scotland on Channel 5.

In her new Channel 5 travel series, Susan Calman’s Grand Days Out, she explores some of the UK’s most scenic road trips in a vintage motorhome.
The vehicle is named after her famous person, Helen Mirren, and Susan will showcase some of the UK’s best Staycation spots.
Susan Calman’s Grand Days Out begins Friday at 8 p.m. on Channel 5.
