When did you take part in the Channel 4 show?

The family was featured on the show from the start and quickly became popular with viewers.

Before joining in 2013, Jonathan owned a kosher restaurant while Nikki was a kindergarten teacher.

Her success was not without negativity, however, as Amy was attacked by trolls over her weight.

During one episode of the show, she said, “Even if it is unhealthy to be tall, it is unhealthy to be too thin, it is portrayed as a bad thing.”

Why did they leave

Jonathan, Nikki and their children said goodbye to the hit reality series two years ago.

It is reported that Amy’s appearance on Celebs Go Dating was one of the main reasons when the show aired in October 2018.

Meanwhile, Josh has secured a job in the cabinet office – a role he left a year later.

Speaking to Spiegel about quitting the show, he said, “The option to go back is always there, but I want to move away from it and the focus is very much on my job now.

“Of course I miss it and sitting on the couch in front of the TV. But I’m more focused on my future … it’s a sure way.

“I don’t think ministers recognize me, but officials do. It took you a while to mention it – about two days total! “

Who is the Tapper family? Jonathan and Nikki

Nowadays, Jonathan works as a chauffeur while his wife continues to work in a kindergarten.

Despite not being in the spotlight, the family made headlines as early as July 2019 after Jonathan contracted coronavirus.

At the time, the 52-year-old was fighting for his life while his anxious family sat by his bed.

Nikki, 47, said medics advised the family to order an oxygen machine so they could take care of him at home.

The mother of two explained, “One night Jonathan came home from work and could not move. He had a cough and high temperature. He lay down on the sofa and stayed there – without exaggeration – in our living room for two weeks. “

She added, “Jonathan has underlying conditions like diabetes and is in his early 50s, so we were very concerned.”

Daughter Amy is still a normal face on TV screens, including Celebs Go Dating and the upcoming Celebs Go Skating.

For the past few months, the 20-year-old has wowed fans with her incredible weight loss after losing three stones.

When she opened up on her weight journey, she said before: “I am so proud that I was able to keep the 3 stones that I lost and that I still feel healthier and fitter than last year at this time !!!!”

“Now, muscle food has literally helped so many people achieve incredible results, not just me !!”

In the meantime Josh has apparently quit his job in the cabinet office to work as a communications officer.

He currently works at Demos – a leading UK think tank and charity.

According to the company’s website, Josh is a professional in all areas of the press and media – including the public, policymakers and politicians.

Josh’s new job came almost two years after he left the Channel 4 show to be part of a graduate school at Number 10.
