Martin Compston has quickly cemented himself as one of the UK’s most popular actors, but what do we know about him – how is he married?
After gaining fame at the age of just 16, the 34-year-old has become synonymous with acclaimed TV dramas.

Who is Martin Compston?
The 34-year-old Scottish star was born in Greenock, Inverclyde.
In his fifth year, he dropped out of high school to pursue the dream of becoming a soccer player.
In 2016 he married his wife Tianna Flynn.

The happy couple have been together for three years before tying the knot.
Martin Compston and his wife are both actors, although Tianna currently works as a real estate agent.
Her public Facebook page describes her as an actress, model and stunt woman.
What did Martin star in?
The actor was only 16 years old when he starred in his first role in Ken Loach’s Sweet Sixteen.
The film received critical acclaim and helped it garner a spot on the BBC drama Monarch of the Glen.
But his big breakout role came in 2012. When he appeared as DS Steve Arnott on breakout hit Line of Duty.
Last year was a big one for Martin. He starred in the BBC surrogacy drama The Nest and played a role in the BBC and Albi crime drama Traces.
He’s also tried his hand at Hollywood, starring in Margot Robbie’s film Mary Queen of Scots.

Is Martin Compston’s accent in Traces real?
It turns out that Martin’s accent in the BBC drama Line of Duty is completely fictional.
“I’m very Scottish, but people in Scotland get a little angry about it …” the star previously told Radio X.
“I can’t play everything like I’m from Greenock! I am an actor! “
When is Line of Duty back?
Line of Duty’s sixth series was able to film last year despite Covid-19 gripping the nation. Filming was completed in late November.
“That’s a wrap!” Creator Jed Mercurio wrote on Twitter.
“Our last day of shooting ended a few hours ago. 82 days of shooting with the Covid shutdown in between, but we made it thanks to our brilliant cast and crew. And thanks to our loyal fans for their exceptional patience. “

Talking about how the pandemic affected filming, Martin said, “It was a different way of filming to get used to, but we were lucky enough to get back to a job we love. Jed Mercurio’s scripts were still excellent and we gave everything we pressed. “
However, there is still no word about an official premiere date.
Will there be the second series of The Nest?
The surrogacy drama went well with viewers, scoring over 7 million points in each episode.
Despite its success, the BBC has not yet given an official word on a second series.
The show’s creator, Nicole Taylor, teased that she would like the show to continue.
“I recently told someone that I never understand why writers write a second series where there is a first series that ends satisfactorily, but now I am because I miss the characters so much,” she told the BBC .
Martin’s new drama Traces opens on January 4th at 9 p.m. on BBC One. All episodes can be viewed on iPlayer.
