When is Line of Duty back?

Line of Duty’s sixth series was able to film last year despite Covid-19 gripping the nation. Filming was completed in late November.

“That’s a wrap!” Creator Jed Mercurio wrote on Twitter.

“Our last day of shooting ended a few hours ago. 82 days of shooting with the Covid shutdown in between, but we made it thanks to our brilliant cast and crew. And thanks to our loyal fans for their exceptional patience. “

Talking about how the pandemic affected filming, Martin said, “It was a different way of filming to get used to, but we were lucky enough to get back to a job we love. Jed Mercurio’s scripts were still excellent and we gave everything we pressed. “

Will there be the second series of The Nest?

The surrogacy drama went well with viewers, scoring over 7 million points in each episode.

Despite its success, the BBC has not yet given an official word on a second series.

The show’s creator, Nicole Taylor, teased that she would like the show to continue.

“I recently told someone that I never understand why writers write a second series where there is a first series that ends satisfactorily, but now I am because I miss the characters so much,” she told the BBC .

Martin’s new drama Traces opens on January 4th at 9 p.m. on BBC One. All episodes can be viewed on iPlayer.
