Ek Mini Katha from Amazon Prime Video was recently released and received a great response from audiences and critics. It has been discussed most for its unique story idea and concept, something that has never been explored before in Indian cinema. The film revolves around the dilemma and struggles of the protagonist Santosh Shoban, whose life is engulfed by a psychological problem that is often not talked about.
Venkatadri Express’s Merlapaka Gandhi was praised for taking up an unconventional and complex topic and implementing it so well that it has become a complete family entertainer.
The subject is so sensitive that it can easily get into an uncomfortable room. Instead, Gandhi and director Karthik Rapolu came up with this pretty original idea with a tingling comedy and quirky dialogue, which made it a fun watch.

Talking about the concept, Santosh says, “This is really not the trend or pull of films that talk about taboos and breaking stereotypes. The inspiration for this film came from Gandhi, sir, and it’s really just a great story. “
Santosh is fortunate to have been given the opportunity to work in a film with such a unique plot. “In our filmmaking and acting careers, it’s very rare that we get the opportunity to do something that has never been done before. It is a golden opportunity for us, once this is done, each would be the second person to do this. Gandhi Sir is the first person to write it. We had done an investigation to see if there was a cinematic representation of this subject, but we couldn’t find any. This is a literally original story from Telugu cinema. I think it’s absolutely flawless to write about Gandhi Sir, ”says Santosh.
Ek Mini Katha also plays Kavya Thapar, Shraddha Das, Brahmaji, Saptagiri, Sudarshan, Posani Krishna Murali and Harsha Vardhan. It is managed by Karthik Rapolu and produced by UV Concepts. The film was released on Amazon Prime Video on May 27th.
