Dancing On Ice pro Hamish Gaman reportedly quit the skating show after a “tense meeting with bosses”.
The 37-year-old skater who worked with Faye Brookes had to retire from this year’s Dancing On Ice after a finger injury.
However, the star reportedly left the series shortly after talking to producers about the couple’s next performance.
Dancing On Ice: Why Did Hamish Gaman Quit?
33-year-old Faye apparently thought her upcoming Pretty Woman routine – taken from the iconic 1990 film – too basic for her.
Additionally, the former Corrie star believed the performance would put her in the bottom two places.

A source said The sun“Earlier this week, when rehearsals for the show began that Sunday, both went to show bosses to express their concern about the routine.”
They also added, “It couldn’t have helped that the routine took Hamish’s injury into account.
“But after the meeting the gears were clearly buzzing in action because Hamish was gone less than a day later.”
Before Hamish quit, he announced to fans that the medics had approved him for skating.
After the meeting, the gears clearly buzzed in action as Hamish had disappeared less than a day later.
The professional also confirmed the news on his Instagram profile at the time.
What did ITV say about his departure?
ITV has since hit back on the claims – insisting that Hamish’s departure was due to a finger injury.
An ITV spokesperson told ED !: “Unfortunately we can confirm that Hamish Gaman had to withdraw from the competition.
“We thank him for all of his hard work and wish him all the best as he takes time out to allow his injury to heal completely.”
Additionally, ITV confirmed that Faye will skate with Matt Evers – he was previously dating Denise Van Outen.
What did Faye Brooks say?
The actress broke her silence over the news on Instagram and insisted that she “start over”.
She wrote: “Round two. No matter what … Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and start over. “
In a separate post, Faye added, “It’s not the end of my journey, it’s just a change of direction… I was honored to learn how to skate from the only @hamishgaman with all the skills and knowledge he has kindly gave me. “

She added, “I can now start a whole new chapter with @themattevers.”
Meanwhile, it was also announced that the ITV skating series will no longer air this weekend.
