Jennifer Lopez teams up with Netflix on a massive, multi-year Megabucks deal.
The streaming service has signed a first-look agreement with Jennifer’s Nuyorican Productions – the team behind the 2019 hit, Hustlers.
As part of the new deal, Netflix will first reject all of the company’s films, TV shows and “unscripted material”.
Nuyorican, which was created with Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas and Benny Medina, also focuses on projects that support various female actors and filmmakers.
When the announcement is made, JLo agrees Deadline: “I’m excited to announce my new partnership with Netflix.
“Elaine, Benny and I believe that there is no better home for us than a forward-thinking content creation company that tries to defy conventional wisdom and directly market to millions around the world that no longer has the limits and limits of the arts and entertainment Limits of the past.
“We at Nuyorican Productions are happy to find like-minded partners in Ted Sarandos, Scott Stuber, Bela Bajaria and the entire team, and look forward to getting to work right away.”

What is Jennifer Lopez doing with Netflix?
Two films are currently in production – the action thrillers The Mother and The Cipher.
First, Jennifer plays FBI agent Nina Guerrero in The Cipher, who is involved in a serial killer case.
She ends up in a game of cat and mouse with the murderer and has to crack a series of codes that the attacker left her.

Meanwhile, The Mother follows a deadly assassin who comes out of hiding to teach her daughter how to survive.
It is based on the book by Isabel Ojeda Maldonado.
Both are expected to hit the market in 2022.
