There is nothing more exciting than seeing an action thriller on the big screen! And of course, if it’s the sequel to the blockbuster film Ek Villain, the excitement rises even more. The film, which is in the final stages of shooting, is currently being shot in Mumbai with John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria. Yesterday, John Abraham, who will star in yet another powerful action avatar, completed his shooting schedule for Ek Villain Returns. The actor is known for his intense action drama and has performed high-octane stunt sequences in the film.
While sharing his enthusiasm, John Abraham said, “Filming for Ek Villain Returns was a seamless experience. This is the first time since my debut film where Mohit Suri happened to be the first AD and is now the director that I’ve returned to the same school of filmmaking. Mohit didn’t have to tell me much. He would tell me a word and I would understand. I’m a guy who hates night shots and rain. But I enjoyed everything in this film. There were no complaints. Everything felt too good to be true. I’ll put everything aside to work with Mohit again. It was such a nice experience. We made a great film. I’m so proud of it, and I say it without seeing a single frame of it. Congratulations to all of us. The team was fantastic, the production and directing teams were very good. If I may put it that way, we have a super hit in hand. “
Similarly, Mohit Suri added, “From being assistant in John’s first film to now directing Ek Villain Returns, it has been a long dream come true. I was meant to work with him since my first film. John and I both started our careers at the same company and I always wanted to work with him and I finally got the opportunity. I had a great experience on and off the set working with him on Ek Villain Returns. “
Ek Villain Returns will hit theaters on July 8, 2022 with a strong cast including John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria. The film is directed by Mohit Suri and produced jointly by T-Series and Balaji Telefilms.
