Joy as the caller shows that the son’s cancer treatment has ended

That morning viewers got emotional when a caller revealed that their young son had finished his cancer treatment.

During the Friday (February 5) episode of the ITV daytime show, a woman who called for the Good News segment said she was overjoyed that her three-year-old was no longer having to go through his exhausting cancer treatment.

And some of those watching at home were in tears while others said the news made them “smile the biggest”.

Charlene said it had been three “tough” years, but luckily it was all over.

She told hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary on Friday that her little boy Oliver was fine.
