This isn’t the first time a cute picture of Louis has been posted on the occasion of his birthday.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge usually share new pictures of their children on their birthdays.
Last year (2020) the couple posted beautiful snaps of little Louis to mark him as a two-year-old.
The now infamous pictures show how Louis likes to paint during a family time.
One photo showed Louis holding his paint-covered hands very close to his face.

How will Louis celebrate this year?
Due to the pandemic, it means Louis’ birthday is likely to be low key and with family.
He can celebrate with his older siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
In the meantime, mom Kate Louis could make a birthday cake to enjoy.
The Duchess has a tradition of making special homemade cakes for her children for their birthdays.
She previously said of Mary Berry’s A Berry Royal Christmas in 2019: “I love to bake the cake.
“It has become a tradition that I stay up until midnight with ridiculous amounts of cake mix and frosting and make way too much. But I love it. “

Louis’ birthday falls on the same day that the royal family’s official mourning period ends after Prince Philip’s death.
The Duke of Edinburgh died on April 9th at Windsor Castle and his funeral took place last Saturday (April 17th).
Kate and William reportedly told their children that their great-grandfather Philip was “now an angel”.
