Kate Ferdinand has enjoyed her first drink since giving birth to her little son Cree in December.
The former TOWIE star, 29, had to have an emergency caesarean section to aid the delivery – an experience she described as “traumatic”.
But she looked relaxed and happy when she shared a picture of a large, apparently alcoholic drink with ice and a straw on her Instagram stories.

Kate, whose little son is her first child with the former soccer player Rio Ferdinand (42), has given the picture a title: “It’s been a while … Happy Friday.”
And she deserves it after going through the past few weeks.
In an emotional Instagram post on December 27, Kate gave her followers a glimpse into the birth and revealed that she had felt “guilty” in the days that followed.
Next to a beautiful photo of her holding the baby, she wrote: “I wanted to share this with you. That’s me … and let me add that this is a much better version of me than I have been for the past 10 days.

“After an emergency caesarean section and a traumatic birth, I was completely wiped out.
“The happiness was overwhelming, but so were the tears and emotions. I felt like I can’t do what to do with Cree as I couldn’t consistently change or feed him, which made me feel all sorts of guilt for Cree, Rio and so on, as I can’t do what I do usually do for the kids.
“It’s a whirlwind that I just didn’t expect … but at the same time the most perfect whirlwind.”
Kate, who married Rio in 2019, is already the stepmother of Rio’s three children with his late wife, Rebecca Ellison.

And she shared an adorable photo of the family together around the Christmas tree – Cree included – for the festive season.
She has given it a title: “My whole heart. Cree Ferdinand. Our angel boy, we all love you so much. “
The former TOWIE star previously admitted she struggled when she first moved in with Rio and his children, who tragically lost Rebecca to breast cancer in 2015.
she said You magazine Last year: “I cried every day for a year when I first moved in to Rio.
“It was an incredibly difficult time because his mother Janice passed away just two years after the loss of Rebecca. My heart broke for her.
“I just wanted to try to fix it, make the kids happy, and be as kind and supportive as possible. I quit my job, I wanted to do everything right. “
