Kate Garraway has been ordered to fire Derek in the battle for health

Kate Garraway has announced that she has been asked to fire her husband, Derek Draper, for not signing up for it.

Derek has been in the hospital since March last year after contracting coronavirus and he’s still battling the aftermath.

Tonight (March 23rd) the host’s documentary Finding Derek will air on ITV and she’s doing the shock reveal.

Elsewhere, Kate recently revealed the devastating effects the virus had on Derek.

She said his legs were “like sticks” after losing eight stones.

Is Kate leaving GMB to take care of her husband?

She reportedly says in the documentation, “If I have to quit work to take care of him, it is best to do it now. If he needs to be looked after around the clock, I’m the main supervisor. “

However, on Tuesday, she clarified her comments on the daily show.

She said to her co-stars Ben Shephard and Susanna Reid: “You can’t get rid of me that easy!”

“What Derek needs is ongoing specialist support. I am not a medical expert.
