Kate Middleton and Prince William have returned to work for the first time since Prince Philip’s funeral.
The couple visited the Air Cadets in East London today (April 21) after receiving special permission from the Queen.
During the tour, Kate and William paid tribute to the Duke of Edinburgh, who served with the Air Cadets for 63 years.

As always, Kate, 39, looked chic in a black Dolce and Gabbana coat and suede pumps.
The stylish coat she previously wore on Remembrance Day 2017 had classic gold buttons.
Meanwhile, 38-year-old William put on a dark suit, white shirt, and black tie.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared a number of the day’s recordings on Twitter.
The couple chatted with the Air Cadets in one, while another showed Kate in a flight simulator.
The contribution read: “Today the Duke and Duchess visited @ 282ATC, which supports its @ Luftkadetten to acquire skills and qualifications in various disciplines …
“… before I speak to some young people preparing for their @DofE Awards.”
Meanwhile, royal fans rushed to praise the pair.
One wrote: “These two are always on duty and even in this sad time they do their job for the family with warm respect and joy. Bravo!”

The queen is celebrating her 95th birthday
Meanwhile, the Queen’s 95th birthday is celebrated today.
Her Majesty apparently celebrated the occasion in a reserved manner after the death of her husband.
She also released a statement to thank the public for their support.

She said: “Today, on the occasion of my 95th birthday, I received many messages with good wishes that I really appreciate.
“While we are at a time of great grief as a family, it has all been comforting to see and hear the honors that have been paid to my husband.”
The Queen also added, “My family and I would like to thank you all for the support and kindness we have received over the past few days. We were deeply touched. “
